Due to the high prices of much of its upscale merchandise, Neiman Marcus is sometimes called "Needless Markup."There are 42 Neiman Marcus stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. The newest opened in Bellevue, Washington, in September 2009.
